Are you interested in Public Relations? Washington National Opera is currently looking for a part-time Public Relations Intern to assist the Public Relations Department during the fall of our 2008-2009 season. The application deadline for this Internship has been extended to August 1st. The Public Relations Intern will assist with writing and editing Press Releases, researching, tracking and pitching stories with media relations, creating targeted media lists for pitch stories and educational programs, and compiling press kits. The Plácido Domingo Intern/Apprentice Program at Washington National Opera offers great opportunities to participate in the day-to-day activities of one of the nations leading opera companies.
