Help Clean Water Action on a campaign to protect Michigan’s water quality from current proposals for seven new dirty coal plants. Clean Water Action is a statewide organization with over 205,000 members in Michigan and a national network of campaign organizers, local groups and allied organizations. We have a 36-year track record of organizing winning campaigns on key issues affecting people, water, waste, toxins and the environment. Our purpose is to promote environmental action at the community level and to create a voice for communities throughout Michigan. RESPONSIBILITIES As part of our campaign staff, you would organize communities around environmental issues. Responsibilities include one-on-one communication, fundraising, dispersing information, and good record keeping. Hours are Monday through Friday 2:00pm to 10:30pm (3 days minimum).
