Paid Internships

The Media Programs Intern at the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) will work with GLAAD’s Special Projects Manager for Media Programs on long-term print and web projects related to the organization’s media advocacy and anti-defamation efforts. The Media Programs Intern will help develop resources for community members and media professionals, support targeted campaigns around key issues, contribute to the capacity of new program areas, conduct research projects, and handle routine writing and administrative tasks. This internship is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to strengthen their strategic planning, research, writing, and project management skills.
