The Department of Conservation & Environmental Services has vacancies in its Energy Efficiency Outreach Program. The interns will assist residential and business community members in assessing enery-saving opportunities and enrolling in energy efficiency rebate programs. Interns will also assist in implementing new community-based programs targeting watershed protection, water conservation, Urban Heat Effect and climate change mitigation. Internship positions are for one (1) year and have flexible hours based on school/work schedules. Applicants with a background in public education, outreach/,marketing or environmental science are encouraged to apply. The necessary technical training will be provided by the department. Applications will be reviewed on a regular basis and interviews will be scheduled as the need arises to fill vacancies.
