TKPR- Online/Web PR Intern
Tokyo Kingston Public Relations (TKPR) is an up-and-coming fashion & entertainment public relations firm based out of New York and Washington DC. Tokyo Kingston PR seeks motivated, energetic, creative, dedicated, detail-oriented web interns available to start immediately and work closely with the fashion & entertainment teams. Web interns help to maintain databases, fulfill media requests, contact clients, send out press releases, prepare for special events, and maintain customer relationships. This is a great, hands-on opportunity to learn the ins & outs of the public relations industry. Interns work on the following – (not limited to): – assistance with research – tracking and scanning credits from magazines – social media projects – creation and maintenance of contact lists – editor and stylist outreach Requirements: – College sophomore or older – Available to work for no more than 15-20 hours a week. This internship is ONLINE, so you will be working from home. – Interested in fashion/accessories/entertainment/writing & public relations Preferred but not required: – Internship for school credit – Past PR and/or Fashion & Lifestyle internship experience – Understanding of basic CSS/HTML, Excel, Photoshop, and/or Gimp. *Interns are unpaid. Tokyo Kingston PR does participate in a client-development incentive program that allows interns to be compensated if they sign up a client with TKPR. *Internship is from February 2010 – May 7 2010.
