Question by starfishblues: What are some starting ideas for internships in public administration?
I’m planning on entering an MPA program next fall. I know it’s kind of a long way off, but I really want to do an internship after I complete my studies. The degree I will be getting is a Master’s in Public Administration. I will probably choose the concentration in Nonprofit Administration. I’d really like to do my internship for a large NGO – preferably one with an international focus. I would also consider internships in the federal or state government if I still could have a public service focus. Where are some good places to start?

If you are in the U.S., get in touch with your local senators and representatives (state and federal) and government leaders. If you give them a really big campaign donation, that is even better.
