Question by cheryl_nuzum: Is it possible to apply for internships?
I’m trying to land an internship for the summer, but there’s no place in particular I know that has them. Plus, I’ve heard that internships are something that they find you for. Is that true? If not, is it possible to apply for an internship? If so, do you know where I could find one, summer or school year, in either Gwinnett or Walton county Georgia?

you heard WHO ‘finds them for you’? noone is going to go looking around finding internships for you; you have to do it yourself, and the competition for most internships are pretty fierce and few and far between. you havent been specific enough here; the word “internships” has a wide range. what field are you trying to get into? most internships require college work or a degree in that specific field and you have to apply for most of them (how would they know you wanted it if you dont apply? whats the alternative?). if you have a solid background in that field, you can apply. its hard to find internships online- most are found through school or word of mouth. youll have to get out there and make some connections and start talking to some professors and grads.
