Look at some statistics about people with what degrees make what average amounts of money. At a bachelors degree level, some of the highest are economics and mathematics (the mathematicians go into higher level finance and insurance, whereas those with degrees in finance are stuck with lower level finance jobs). Also high up there are engineering and nursing, with chemical engineering on top, followed by electrical and computer engineering and software engineering, then mechanical and civil, and then after them comes the business degrees.
At a masters level, it shifts a little bit, with physics and engineering moving a little higher on the scale. On average, masters level engineers make more money than MBA’s.
At a post-masters level, the highest average are in medicine. Some lawyers make a lot of money, but only if they are one of the partners in a firm — otherwise, they’re a little below engineering master’s level.
Just look it up.
