Question by xearf_09: Can being antisocial devastate chances for finding internships and career opportunities?
I realize networking is very valuable when it comes to finding internships, acquiring letters of recommendation, etc. But what if a person is somewhat awkward in social situations and doesn’t generally make a lot of relationships with the few people they do end up meeting over the course of time? Will it be hard for that person to get a job, in the long run?

You sound like me. We’re not mean people, we’re actually very friendly, just quiet and keep to ourselves. It’s going to be more difficult, I’ll tell you that much. Try to talk to people – that’s the only advice I can give.
