*Waves hello* Hey, I’m a college student as well. It depends on what you like to do. What is your major? It is good to get jobs that relate to your major because it prepares you for what you will be doing in the future. Hmm, what about work-study. That is always good.
You can always look into jobs such as restaurant jobs and retail. They like to hire people our ages. When working, employers look for longevity. So it is good to stay in companies for a good period of time. This will always build up our resumes.
Some good jobs to look into are C.V.S., Rite Aid, and MACY’s. You’ll be able to find a job. Just have charm, be friendly and motivated. BE CONFIDENT and you’ll be good.

Waiting on tables. That is the most common job people have while attending college. It is sometimes very hard work. However, when I was in college waiting on tables I averaged about $10-12 an hour. Back then minimum wage was $4.75 an hour. There is not much else for college students with flexible hours that pays that well. It also gives you a lot of excellent experience dealing with difficult people that you won’t get anywhere else which you need in every job.
