Yes you want to look for programs that involve Clinical Research. In this setting you will be shadowing practicing physicians who may also be gather information for their own research.

Many of these programs may be somewhat out of reach cause many are oriented at Medical Students, but I’m certain there are a few out there that will accept undergraduate students.

Another way is to find a MD/PhD at a nearby University to shadow and ask if they are doing research.
