Are there any internships for high schoolers in the fashion industry? Preferably at fashion magazines or designers? Thanks.
Also, are teens who have graduated from 8th grade by the summer allowed to intern? Are there any fashion internships for 8th grade graduates? I don’t think so but I want to make sure.

Yup and my school offers plenty of them.

Many. You just have to have connections or a REALLY good resume. Never said it’d be easy. Look in the classifieds, on craigslist, on fastweb, on studentedge or ask a counselor.

If you are in America, most companies will not hire you as an intern. Most interns have to be 16 or older for liability reasons. But if you are 16+ then I would look up local companies in the fashion industry and ask them if they would like to have an intern (P.S. they would be much more willing if you asked for an unpaid internship). If you’re into fashion design you should check out http://www.designerbloc.com/ It’s a community for aspiring fashion designers to display their designs, get community feedback, and meet other designers. I thought you might be interested.
