Would a summer internship or a summer college course look better on a college application?
Question by freezy: Would a summer internship or a summer college course look better on a college application?
I’m a high school junior and I want to know which would be better for me to do this summer: an internship or taking a course. I want to do pre-med in college, and I’m thinking that the internship will impress colleges more, but on the other hand if I do a course and get college credit, I could get ahead when I’m in college. Can I please get advice from college students who possibly did a summer internship or course(s). Thanks!

Definately do the internship. It will impress colleges that you have not only the experience but also the drive to devote one of your summers pre-college to something medically related. Take AP courses, and pass the tests
, your senior year so you’ll be ahead no matter what
Good Luck!

they’re both really good choices…even i can’t decide…but id say whatever one you think is better for you…will the course educate you as much as the internship or vice versa…
im a senior in high school but i did an internship this summer…and im taking college classes this summer…but i found the internship very helpful…and i got paid!…
