Question by Manillo: Is it too late to find a PAID summer internship in the field of English/Mass Comm?
I’m trying my hardest to find a paid summer internship in or slightly related to the field of English or either Mass Communications with a concentration in some sort of writing. Unfortunately, the internship that I had last year with a newspaper company did not come through this year so I’m forced to try to find something at the last minute.

I don’t even know where to begin to look for internships in the field of English! Someone help. Any suggestions, or anyone knowing any places that are still hiring interns would be appreciated.

You could try lots of companies in their communications department, they’re always looking for help.
I also wanted to comment on something you wrote about not buying gas on the 15th. I just wanted to remind you that Clinton signed the clean air bill right before leaving office, that’s what is causing gas prices to be so high. It had nothing to do with Bush – he just gets blamed for it because most people are too busy to do research. Bush isn’t as bad as everyone says he is. Don’t worry, I don’t blame you, college campuses spew liberal agenda all day long, it’s not your fault.
