Question by Ryno: How many community college credits to get into regular college?
I’ve just been dismissed from my Freshmen year at college because of my laziness. Now, I have to go to community college in order to get back ino college. How many hours of credit do I need? 12-24.

You must speak with a guidance counsellor…it depends on the college and what credits they’ll accept from the that particular community college. A lot of times they’ll only accept Gen Ed classes while any “major” classes you take will not be accepted by the university. It’s also specific General Education classes also. Your guidance counsellor should have the list either at the community college or the university should have the list.

To get into university you will normally need 120+ UCAS points to get in, this is like 3 grade cs.
If you do the International Baccalaureate they will expect 360+ UCAS points.
It also depends on the course you want to go for and what you have already achieved.

if you have to attend community college in order to transfer to a university most places ask for 60 credits (semester) that is usually about 2 years so you will have to wait. Good Luck !

Wow, you must’ve been partying alot huh?
Lol in any case, it depends on the CC. Go to your guidance counselor at your CC and ask, it’ll be slight different for each CC, it’ll also depends on what 4 year college you want to go to and what GE classes they want. Good luck my friend.
