Start by asking your instructors.Dept head ,make your pitch.
Headhunters regularly ask dept heads.
If not then
Next network with the Professional organization ,ask instructor.Dept head.
Join as student member [reduced dues] attend rub elbows ,listen .
The people you might meet ,if you are Professional ,might insight you in.
last Do your home work see what company might be here in 10-20 yrs

Try Sea Launch, it’s a division of Boeing.
Boeing, of course, has a facility at the Long Beach Airport.
