How many internships do college students (finance majors) do on average before they graduate?
Question by Moomooson: How many internships do college students (finance majors) do on average before they graduate?
I know that I should try to do as many as I can, but I am worried I may not have more than two by the time I graduate. Most of the jobs that I have looked at, want me to have at least 1 year of work experience. I will only have 7 months of internship experience and one year as a finance professor assistant.

I would consider a 7 month internship and l year as a finance professor assistant very good experience. If your education is good and qualifies you for a job in the financial services industry, your other work will be sufficient, I believe.
One thing you can do to help increase your chances of exposing yourself to get hired, is to join an association in the industry that you want to get hired into, and attend all of their meetings. Ask your professor about these kinds of associations. Perhaps he or she can recommend one to you.
