Question by addictedtoLOST!: should i take a summer internship over summer classes at a community college?
I am going to be going into my second year of college and if i take classes during the summer, 4 classes in total are allowed, i will be a junior in college and hopefully raise my gpa, but i have an opportunity maybe to do an internship at alcon. Should i do an internship or stick with my studies and do the internship perhaps next summer?

Internship, internship, internship!
If its going to help you out in your career, do it. Your career lasts much longer and defines you more than your college experience.

That is, unless you are behind in credits for graduation. It seems like you’re not behind.

You can raise your GPA during the school year too. Taking summer classes doesn’t mean that you’re guaranteed good grades. You might get burnt out, distracted by the sunshine, or just get the same grades you would anyway.

DO THE INTERNSHIP. Then you have the possibility for an even better one the next summer.
