Question by : What jobs in the Army require a college degree?
I want to join the Army because i am a patriot, i l;love my country and it is like a family tradition. but i know most of the people go because they have no other job and are not smart enough for college. but that’s the thing i want to go to college because just never having a college degree doesn’t seem right. and since all of the jobs in the army i look at don’t allow a college degree, i was wanting to know if there were some at all?

Practically everything you stated here is wrong. Though I am glad you want to serve in the United States Army. Most people do not join the Army because they don’t have a job, that is well established. The HS graduation rate in America is about 70% and the Army has a HS graduation rate of over 95%. We are not dumb. Most soldiers take advantage of their time in service to attend some college and then when they get out they use their GI Bill to attend college. Again, we are not dumb. No Army position doesn’t “allow a degree”. What you meant to say is that most don’t require a college degree. You can enlist in the Army as an Infantry soldier with a dozen degrees to your name. The only positions that require a college degree are those of commissioned officers.
