Question by : When should I apply for a summer internship?
I’m looking to do an internship at our Juvenile Detention Center or Department of Probation and Parole during the Summer of 2012. At what point should I start making call and turning in applications for these internship positions?

Never too early to call and ask them about that. I’d guess by sometime in January or February.

I do not know what state you live in, but I am guessing this government agency is looking any day. Keep checking starting now for the opening and closing dates to apply for the internship. Many government agencies are looking year round.
