Question by : Can my “Years of Professional Experience” come solely from unpaid internships?
When they say I need at least one year of professional experience to apply, does that mean only paid jobs count, or do unpaid positions count too? Because I have over a year’s worth of relevant experience in my chosen field in unpaid internships and volunteer positions, but no paid experience.
Am I qualified?

If that’s all you have, yes.

It still counts as experience paid or not. Many companies like to see that you volunteered.
