In this economy NOWWWWW, what are you waiting for, LOL ! Go to your college career center and have them review your Resume ASAP, and have a strong Cover Letter.

I’ll assume you’re graduating in May.
November- do some basic google searching of jobs in your field. If there are any fellowship programs you are interested in, applications are probably due now.
January- talk to career services, get your resume edited by career services, get in touch with possible references to make sure they are avaliable (jobs usually want 3 references, ideally all from past employers but a professor can do sometimes).
February- Start applying. Even if a job you apply for Feb 1 decides to hire you, the process probably won’t end until late March. It takes time to get a job, 3-4 months before you graduate is a good time to start looking.
