Question by : Cool jobs in the Air Force that dont require college?
Trying to decide between navy and air force. The only thing that interested me in the air force was aerial gunnery. But i havent done any college yet so i cant do it. What cool jobs dont require college prior to enlistment? Can you change jobs while active duty?

There are no enlisted jobs that require college in any branch. The only people that require college are Officers.
95% of all new Recruits in any branch are 18 year old kids right out of high school.

I think you could be aircrew on an AC-130. You can change jobs but the military likes to keep you at your job since that’s what they trained you for. Choose your job carefully.

Ariel Gunner doesn’t require college. I had a contract for that job. Very interesting mix of shooting stuff and mechanics. I turned down the contract for something else.
Bojangles, I am not sure “95% of all new Recruits in any branch are 18 year old kids right out of high school” is true anymore. The average age of my tech school class was 24. We only had two guys under 21.
I joined at 23.
