1. Register guests according to instructions in their reservations 2. Offers assistance to guests as needed 3. In response to guests queries, gives out information regarding hotel services and facilities, the extras offered, factual information regarding events, people, accessible places of interest, historical and cultural points of interest, cultural and entertainment perfomances 4. Handles and controls guest rooms keys, receives from and issues to the right guests, initiates request for replacement of lost keys or for issuace of additional keys as requested by guests. 5. Ensures that keys are returned by guests upon check out, and closely co-ordinates with key custodian regarding key inventory. 6.Keep an accurate count of rooms sold, vacant, out of order etc. and maintains an accurate record of all hotel guests. 7. Reconciles room status report of housekeeping with that of the department, advice Reception Supervisor/Assistant Front Office manager of any discrepancies. 8.Bolcks rooms for VIPs groups, pre-register them and advice superior and housekeeping accordingly. 9. Accomplishes required reports and maintains records necessary for preparation of statistical data. 10. Attend to guests complaints, enquiries and requests.
