Social Media, Marketing & Communications Interns are expected to commit 10-15 hours/week in-office and will be responsible for a variety of social media, marketing, and communications related tasks including: Article/Content Development -Identify topics for educational articles -Research for writing the article or securing an expert to write and submit the article -Posting and scheduling of the article to appear on our website News Curation -Identify news sources with relevant articles and news on funeral and end-of-life topics -Posting of relevant news from around the web in our blog -Scheduling of curated content in our social media channels Email Marketing -Develop content for email marketing campaigns for multiple audiences -Monitor campaign results & adjust strategy Social Media -Management of Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and LinkedIn Accounts -Development & publishing Twitter & Facebook content Identifying and engaging with potential user groups, customers, and stakeholders via social media Press Releases -Assist with writing of Press Releases -Manage distribution of Press Releases to appropriate outlets This is the perfect opportunity to get real-world, hands-on experience with a fast-growing tech-startup while making a positive impact on your community.
