The Habitat Management Interns, under the supervision of the Habitat Management Coordinator, will help maintain our trails, gardens, ponds, and meadow areas, and assist with our ongoing woodland restoration project where more than 3000 saplings have been planted over the past few years. Primary tasks will include caring for native plant communities, managing and improving our meadow, tending trees, weeding, mulching, pond maintenance, clearing trails of fallen branches, stocking our woodpile, and the identification, mapping and removal of invasive species. They may also help with camp activities, minor repairs and general maintenance of the barn, outdoor classroom, tool sheds, deer fence, and parking lot area.
