Internships with Aflac provide students with the opportunity to gain practical and professional work experience in the Insurance industry. We are currently looking for interns for our Spring and Summer 2017 program, which will run from May through August 2017. Upon completion of an Internship with Aflac, students will: Demonstrate knowledge of agent recruiting cycle. Develop recruiting campaign for social media and digital networks Learn practical human resource and marketing skills Be eligible to take pre-licensing course for insurance. Interns will work alongside the District Manager to make the regional office an organized work environment. Interns will work to grow our district teams and partnerships in the Maryland/DC area. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assist with all aspects of recruiting. Prepare interview and prospective information packets. Coordinate social media pages and monitor page engagements. Create content to increase recruiting engagement. Manage calendar of recruiting events. Assist in planning local recruiting events. Assist in any other operational needs of the District Manager. Aflac managers and associates will work closely with Interns to provide supervision and guidance in the development of the established objectives and internship activities. Students selected for the Internship with aflac will have the opportunity to earn course credit.
