The BSP Marketing team is currently developing and implanting brand and messaging for the POWERplex facility in St. Louis, MO. This massive campus will attract over 2 million visitors a year and is scheduled to open in the beginning of 2019. The intern(s) hired for this position should possess strong critical thinking skills and a can-do attitude to integrate into our vibrant and passionate team. Responsibilities Assist in developing and rolling out a strategic PR and marketing calendar plan Provide creative input and often engage in copywriting and ideation Research competitive landscape across top facilities: include digital and print marketing efforts and successful social media campaigns provide report to Marketing Director Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification Assist in the development of the social media strategy for the POWERplex Monitor and post on blogs, forums, and social networks with the direction of Marketing Director Online outreach and promotion using Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and more Attend and volunteer at work-related events General Administrative duties Research and identify the most influential blogs in our industry. Follow them and provide weekly reports. Scan industry media for news items; provide regularly scheduled updates.
