Question by : if i choose physics and biology for college what jobs can i get?
I was thinking of doing genetic engineering but i didn’t choose chemistry. I also like researching.

Physics and biology – you teach.
Choose engineering – this field is in demand – any type of engineering.
You will never lack a job.
Top right now are bio-medical engineering (look up the details – I believe it has to do with genetics).
Chemical Engineering (which will land you just about any high level engineering job).
Salaries for these two start at 70K a year (only with a 4 year degree).
Google – top paying engineering 4 year degrees.
If you like math and science, the world will be yours – truly yours.

I’m 13 and I’m a freshman in high school. Anyway I want to start planning for the fututr.I want to get into the cellphone business. So I want thinking mayb I can get an internship in a cellphon company while Im taking business in college. But I have no idea where to start.

When you are in college, you go to the Career Center at your school. They help you write resumes, get internships and network with graduates of the school who are in the business. They can help you develop interview skills and help you find part time jobs while in school and full time jobs once you graduate. It’s all free and it’s available to any student who attends the school and you can use their services after you graduate, too.

I am in my second semester in community college, and I am taking 18 credits. If I got C on one of my classes as philosophy, will I be able to transfer this class to another good college? It 3 credit class. Generally what they are looking for?

it depends on the school you would go to.

and i think it is easier to transfer if you get your associates first … but i’m not 100% sure.

it really all depends on the school. some will take a C

Question by bigroc567: why do people that go to community college still get good jobs?
Hi.
Well i’m picking colleges now and I’ve noticed people that graduated from not elite or top school still have decent jobs in comparison to people who graduated from top schools still breaking their backs over internships etc.
so why is it that people from community college still get relativley good jobs while people that graduate from NYU or columbia are still working ridiculously.

its not all about school but about career choice. Plumbers can be trained by paid apprenticeships than then make a heck of a lot of money!

Question by hmmm: If you got a petty larceny and assault conviction when you were 19, will it be hard to get internships/jobs?
They both happened at the same time, and are the only offenses (both are misdemeanors). Will it be hard to get internships/jobs 3 years later in accounting fields?

depends on the background check that the employer conducts. many may not even detect the conviction
