Create product plan for assigned products, including life cycle management, competitive analysis, industry tracking and pricing strategy. Effectively communicate plans to Sales and senior management . Develop an overall promotional programs for assigned products. Participate in the training of new hires and sales, including resellers. Work closely with the Strategic Market group to increase mid-volume placements in key strategic accounts .

STAND Intern – Winter

STAND Intern Winter 2009 (January /February – March/April) Apply Immediately o Application Deadline: December 1 o You should receive notification by December 15 Genocide Intervention Network (GI-NET) is changing the way the United States and the international community responds to the worlds worst crime by empowering individuals and communities with the tools to prevent and stop genocide. GI-NET’s aim is to build the first permanent anti-genocide constituency. GI-NET seeks a highly motivated and independent college student or recent graduate to assist the staff with STAND initiatives. Start and end dates can be negotiated. The STAND intern will work with the STAND staff and Student Leadership Team and coordinate grassroots campaigns, develop materials and strategy, and manage logistics. Major Responsibilities • Developing materials and strategy for specific STAND campaigns • Coordinating campaign logistics with the STAND Leadership Team • Updating STAND’s website • Being the first response to student grassroots inquiries Interns receive $70 per month in SmartBenefits to cover local transportation costs. Lectures, panel discussions and other events are also frequently made available through allied organizations in the Darfur and anti-genocide movements.

Operations Intern – Winter

Operations Intern Winter 2009 (January /February – March/April) Apply Immediately o Application Deadline: December 1 o You should receive notification by December 15 Genocide Intervention Network (GI-NET) is changing the way the United States and the international community responds to the worlds worst crime by empowering individuals and communities with the tools to prevent and stop genocide. GI-NET’s aim is to build the first permanent anti-genocide constituency. GI-NET seeks a highly motivated and independent college student or recent graduate to assist the staff with administrative operations. Start and end dates can be negotiated. The Operations Intern works with the Director of Operations and the Operations Manager to ensure financial, administrative and programmatic support within the Operations department. Major Responsibilities • Assist with the logistical and administrative aspects of the office: overseeing general office maintenance including ordering office supplies; answering general email inquiries from the jobs and internship mailboxes • Posting job announcements • Read and route incoming applications from volunteers, interns and prospective employees • Produce instructional materials for staff and interns Other duties may be assigned throughout the internship depending on department needs and priorities. GI-NET’s aim is to build the first permanent anti-genocide constituency. GI-NET seeks a highly motivated and independent college student or recent graduate to assist the Executive Director. Start and end dates can be negotiated. The Executive Intern works with the Executive Director to ensure board support. Major Responsibilities • Assist with development of annual and progress reports • Develop and produce materials for the Board of Directors and Advisory Board meetings • Assist Executive Director with preparation travel arrangements, and calendar Other duties may be assigned throughout the internship depending on department needs and priorities. GI-NET seeks a highly motivated and independent college student or recent graduate to assist the staff with membership initiatives. Start and end dates can be negotiated. The Membership Intern will assist in recruiting, servicing, and mobilizing GI-Net’s membership to actively participate in its Darfur-related programs. The intern will also assist in the consolidation of GI-Net’s permanent constituency – a crucial element of GI-Net’s long-term mission. Major Responsibilities: • Work on GI-Net’s Ask The Candidates campaign which aims to make Darfur a priority in the presidential race • Correspond with GI-Net members (e.g. sending support materials for their events, explaining our policy/legislative agenda) • Assist in the writing of a bi-weekly newsletter and periodic action alerts • Assist in the creation of membership informational materials
