Question by Jason C: Can someone tell me where to get the list of College jobs?
Can someone tell me where to find information on the list of jobs available for people that graduated college, that you can’t get by just graduating in high school.

Just college jobs, jobs that require you to be in university should be excluded.

Doesn’t matter how many years, just send me as long as you have to be in college for it.

I live in east mids, and would love to get some experience in journalism or media. I am planning to paply for internships at the newspapers and magazines, im so desperate to get out and see the world and experience it. Im just curious, whats the best way to qualify for an internship at these places, and how can i make myself stand out?

I’m planning on entering an MPA program next fall. I know it’s kind of a long way off, but I really want to do an internship after I complete my studies. The degree I will be getting is a Master’s in Public Administration. I will probably choose the concentration in Nonprofit Administration. I’d really like to do my internship for a large NGO – preferably one with an international focus. I would also consider internships in the federal or state government if I still could have a public service focus. Where are some good places to start?

Question by (angry) Gay Guy: College Jobs?
Next year I am going off to college in the middle of nowhere, just over 500 miles away from home. The college I plan to attend is Michigan Technological University, nestled in a town of less than 7,000 people. There are only about 5500 students at the university. I’m going to need a job while I’m there to pay for gas to drive home for Christmas and summer and to have some pocket money. What are some good options that I could do? Because it’s so far north (one of the northernmost cities in Michigan), it’s VERY cold and VERY snowy in the winter (they average 210 inches), so outside things probably won’t work and the town plows everything regularly. What jobs could I do that I could cram into my schedule?

Just look for a job on campus or at a local market or something. your options are infinite. and by the way check your university’s page and see if they have job applications for on campus jobs. good luck.

it depends. Some internships ask for a few years of experience in certain aspects, so you can still be able to, but you may want to try and find an entry level job since most internships are for college credit and you’re not in school anymore. Good luck.
