Time management is all there is to it and discipline. You need the money, so you need to work. Unless you work for the mob.

Question by Sara G: Is taking on modeling school/modeling jobs, college for crime scene investigation,. and work to much to handle?
I just got a contract with John Casablanca’s modeling and want to go to Kaplan for Crime Scene Investigation. I also need to keep my job and i just want to know if it’s indeed to much to take on.

Well which one are you going to give up? If you have a modeling contract keep it! You will probably not get work very regularly anyway. You will need to work part time though, if you are at college then no more than 20 hours a week is whats usually recommended. Less with the modeling too.
On the other hand, you only get one chance at life, so go at it with both hands!

Do you think most college graduates can’t find jobs because most hiring managers think they are overqualifed?

Question by Rmm58: Do you think most college graduates can’t find jobs because most hiring managers think they are overqualifed?
Do you think managers will not hire a graduate applicant only to have the applicant leave the job for a better job? Do college degrees hurt instead of help?

I graduated in 2008, and that summer I had a very difficult time finding work. I applied to everything from office jobs to starbucks, but the retail/food jobs said I was over qualified. I lucked out and found an office job (which has nothing to do with my degree), but it was very stressful and frustrating.

What are all of the college degrees and what jobs can you do with them?

Question by <3: What are all of the college degrees and what jobs can you do with them?
What are all the college degrees and what jobs can you do with them? Like I know of Masters degree, but what are some examples of jobs that you can do with it? Also, how many years does each degree take to get?

Best answer:

Answer by Chelsey
I know that an associates degree takes 2 years, a bachelors degree takes 4, I think masters and PhDs take 6-8 or more. Also…it depends on the classes you take during your college years that distinguish what kind of jobs you can get, basically the only “job” info a degree title can get is the amount of money lol, the more you spend at college the more you earn afterwords(that is depending on the job and such..)

Does having a College education really matter in most jobs?

Question by Ewok: Does having a College education really matter in most jobs?
I know many jobs require a College education of some sort, but I think what you learn in College on the most part has nothing to do with the job you will be doing unless its something like Science or Medicine. It seems to me a big scam by State Colleges who get most of their funding from the Taxpayers and then they still charge the students!

Answer by Jonathan
Yes because you usually need a degree to get in, but it’s true that a lot of the stuff you learn is useless. Also I agree that it’s a scam.
