Training duties include heavy recruiting, must be able to multitask and be very organized, reporting and related administrative functions. We are looking for a responsible, self-motivated, focused person who is willing to work in a small office that has many clients and partners who need constant assistance. Mazenti, a business development consulting firm working with the alternative energy and environmental sectors is seeking graphic design interns for a fall 2008 internship opportunity. We are looking for bright, talented individuals who are looking to gain exposure and experience in the design and production of materials for clients, whether they are web or print based applications. The interns’ work may go towards a branding campaign, so it’s a great opportunity for someone who wants design and business experience, as well as the experience of working independently and as part of a business team. Ethis Communications, Inc. is looking for fall and winter interns to support the editorial and marketing teams in the production of Refractive Eyecare magazine, The Ocular Surface journal, and other print and online publications. Interns will help manage print and electronic archives, facilitate work flow through various stages of production process, conduct research for story ideas and marketing needs, support staff through administrative tasks, perform data entry and create reports as needed, and participate in staff meetings. The ideal candidate should be extremely well-organized, mature, flexible, and detail-oriented, and must be able to communicate clearly, juggle multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines. Previous office experience is a plus. Interns must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours a week. This is a paid internship, but school credit can also be provided.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, answering phones, maintaining and enhancing office organization, event coordination, professional audition monitoring, creating/updating spreadsheets, contract editing, helping with marketing campaigns, scheduling rehearsals and general office duties.
