Paid Internships

Question by Junebug: My partner is coming back from a summer internship?
My partner is coming back in a few days from a summer internship for cooking (so me making him a dinner is completely out of the question). We have a 5 moth old daughter and I’m not sure if we’ll be able to leave the house. I just want a few ideas.
P.S. Please don’t say a bj because i really think that’s disgusting and disturbing.

I have an interview with the State rep of my district for a summer internship position. I am of course nervous because I am not sure what to expect in the form of questions and how I should dress. Any suggestions or advice? Also I have a suit and tie so I figure I would wear that.

I figure he mostly wants to check out if you’re a good intern who won’t cause trouble or embarrass him and or his staff. Internships are not that important from where he’s looking but he can’t risk having a loose canon on board.

I think the moderate approach is best, don’t share outspoken political views unless you’re absolutely sure they’re his. Be polite, try not to be nervous. Articulate clearly, be yourself without going into radical details if they exist
