Talent management or casting internship?
I have one year left in school. When I graduate college, I plan to move to LA to pursue acting. I am planning on being in LA for the summer to do an internship and to get a feel for the city. Which type of internship would I learn the most that I can apply toward my acting career? Which internship would I make the most connections? I plan on continue my acting training in night classes while I am doing the internship.

I’d say your best bet would be to take an internship in a casting office. This will give you a better idea of what’s required during an audition and what casting directors will judge you on.

The Costume Intern will assist the costume staff in the building of costumes for all mainstage shows. He/she will serve as run crew for book-ins and special events, and will assist the Head Dresser on some mainstage shows. Recent college graduates with costuming and/or sewing experience preferred. We are looking to fill the position immediately and the internship lasts until June 2009.
