the internships are too far to commute from college
(and a lot don’t even pay)
so yeah
i am thinking of working in a clothing company (doing promotions, production) and concert venue (doing promotions)

Do you have any local radio stations? They often take on promotions interns for summers or other to help with all of their events. They don’t pay, but, like they did for me, they’ll probably let you work around your work schedule. It’ll look good on your resume, and at least it’s broadcast media!

I want to apply for an internship at Rolling Stone magazine or Entertainment Weekly. Their websites provide a mailing address if you want to apply for an internship. However it douse not mention to who I should address it to. Douse anyone know the name of the person who is responsible for the internships (or jobs) at Rolling Stone magazine and Entertainment Weekly?
