Question by Lauren: Is there a place where you can get summer film internships without being offered college credit?
I am currently in college, but only at a community college and I dont think they have the program where they would except the credits from a summer internship that offers them as actual credits and I really want to look into a film internship or some sort of job just for the summer.
Any place where I can just look around?

The best way to find one is through your school. Do not find one on Craigs List.

Expect to be worked long hours, treated like crap, and be patient.

I was a Production Assistant and worked my way up. It is a crazy business. Look into real production companies that either produce big tv shows or commercials. Once there show more interest in what people do.

If you find a internship at Viacom or MTV… just so you know you could end up in accounting or in department that has nothing to do with production…. just an FYI.

SUMMARY An Academy Instructor is responsible for creating the ultimate iD Gaming Academy experience! This includes fostering a FUN and SAFE environment while helping students learn new technology and think creatively. In addition to creating an optimal learning environment, an Academy Instructor is in charge of continuously supervising students and maintaining a safe atmosphere while on duty.
