Digital Marketing Intern

Our Digital Marketing Intern works directly with the Digital Marketing Coordinator on the Marketing Team. This intern will be involved in creating, testing, executing and evaluating digital marketing projects for Pioneers brand awareness, mobilization and fundraising efforts. If you love creating content and communicating through digital platforms, then this is the role for you! RESPONSIBILITIES – Participating in Marketing Team meetings and contributing ideas and perspective. – Developing marketing research and building audiences for paid media on social platforms. – Creating ads with the assistance of other Marketing Team members. – Tracking performance and adjusting ad settings for optimization. – Creating analytics reports on organic and paid campaigns. – Developing campaigns and generating reports in our email marketing platform. – Assisting with the creation and distribution of content for organic social media campaigns.

Graphic Design Intern

Our Graphic Design Intern works directly with the Art Director on the Marketing Team. This intern will be involved in the research, ideation, creation and iteration of both digital and physical marketing pieces for Pioneers internal and external communication. If you love creating and communicating through design, then this role would be perfect for you! *Applicants will be asked to submit a portfolio in the application process. RESPONSIBILITIES – Participating in Marketing Team meetings and contributing ideas and perspective. – Creating digital designs for social media posts, marketing ads and website assets. – Creating print collateral for marketing, recruitment and fundraising efforts. – Meeting with design project stakeholders (members of other Pioneers teams) to gather requirements. – Taking ownership of one to two key design projects over the course of the internship.

Donor Stewardship Intern

Our Donor Stewardship Intern works directly with the Administrative Assistant on the Advancement Team. This intern is on the frontlines of ministry, serving individual donors who give to Pioneers and strengthening the relationship they have with us. If you love encouraging people and finding ways to show appreciation, then this role would be perfect for you! RESPONSIBILITIES – Calling donors, thanking them for their gifts and praying with them. – Handwriting thank you cards and mailing them to donors.??? – Preparing gifts and mailing them to donors. – Managing direct mail letters that are sent to donors – Creating new innovative ways to appreciate donors and strengthening relationships with them.

Grant Writing Intern

Our Grant Writing Intern works directly with the Global Project Coordinator on the Advancement Team. This intern has the best of both worlds where half of it is writing, and the other half is building relationships and interacting with foundations, donors and missionaries on the field. If you love writing and connecting with people, then this is the role for you! RESPONSIBILITIES – Researching new foundations. – Developing relationships with new foundations and donors. – Writing letters of inquiry, proposals, program logic models and other essential writing pieces. – Connecting with missionaries about projects on the field and creating project descriptions.

International Volunteering Intern

Our International Volunteering Interns work directly with the Director of PROpel on the International Initiatives Team. PROpel creates short-term opportunities (virtual and on-site for 2 hours to 2 weeks) for Christians to use their gifts and skills to serve the global church and the common good. Four internship opportunities are available with PROpel. Applicants may apply for a particular position and will be placed in the role best suited to their skills and experience. If you are passionate about providing quality experiences for volunteers and their host communities, then this is the role for you! OPEN POSITIONS – Quality Assessment: Collect feedback from short-term volunteers and field partners (international hosts) to assess their experience with PROpel. Use feedback to improve the PROpel experience. – Impact Evaluation: Use monitoring tools to evaluate the impact PROpel volunteers make on international host communities. Develop actionable steps to improve PROpels positive impact on these local communities. – Technical Support: Provide technical support for PROpels digital two-way marketplace platform. – Client Services: Provide exceptional customer service to volunteers and field partners requesting guidance with any phase of the PROpel process: application, matching, training, funding, logistics and debrief.
